Risk Disclosure Statement

Last updated: 13 July 2026
Draft — not yet legal advice. This is the single most important protective document for an education + simulation product in the trading space. It is a starting template that has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Have a Nigerian lawyer confirm the wording, and consider requiring users to actively accept it (a tick-box) at sign-up and before the first simulated trade.

Please read this carefully

This Risk Disclosure Statement is part of the FxHomeLab Terms of Service. By using FxHomeLab (the "Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted it.

1. FxHomeLab is education and simulation — not real trading

FxHomeLab is an educational and skills-assessment platform. Everything you do on it — analysis, chart annotation, placing orders, running challenges — happens in a simulated environment using historical and/or delayed market data. No real money is ever traded, deposited, or at stake on the Platform.

2. We are not a broker, prop firm, or financial adviser

FxHomeLab is not:

Nothing on the Platform is financial or investment advice, and nothing is a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy, sell, or hold any currency, security, derivative, crypto-asset, or other financial instrument. Any educational opinion, example, or strategy is general information only and does not consider your personal circumstances, objectives, or risk tolerance.

3. Simulated results are not real results

Performance, profit, scores, badges, and outcomes achieved in the FxHomeLab simulation:

Hypothetical and simulated performance has inherent limitations. Past or simulated performance is not indicative of future results.

4. Trading real money is high-risk

If you choose to trade real money elsewhere (with a real broker or firm), you should understand:

Any decision you make to trade real money, and any loss you suffer, is entirely your own responsibility. FxHomeLab has no involvement in, and no liability for, your real-market trading.

5. The badge is proof of practice skill — not a funded account or credential

A badge or credential earned on FxHomeLab certifies only that you completed a defined challenge within our simulated environment under our rules. It is:

Misrepresenting a FxHomeLab badge as real funding or a real credential is a breach of the Terms of Service.

6. No affiliation with real prop firms

Where the Platform references the rule structures of real proprietary trading firms (for example, two-step challenges, drawdown limits, or profit targets), it does so for education and practice only. FxHomeLab is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any such firm, and all third-party names and marks belong to their owners. See the Disclaimers & No-Affiliation Notice.

7. Market data may be delayed or inaccurate

Market data on the Platform is sourced from third parties, may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and is provided for education and practice only, without warranty. Do not rely on it for real trading decisions.

8. No guarantee of outcomes

FxHomeLab makes no representation or warranty that using the Platform will make you a profitable trader, pass any real challenge, gain funding, or achieve any particular result. Your results depend on many factors outside our control.

9. Your acknowledgement

By using FxHomeLab you acknowledge that you understand the simulated nature of the Platform, the high-risk nature of real trading, and that you are solely responsible for your own real-market decisions.

This is a sensitive topic. If trading or financial pressure is affecting your wellbeing or finances, please consider speaking with a qualified professional or a trusted person before risking real money.
