Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Scope
This Policy governs payments for FxHomeLab paid subscriptions ("Pro", "Plus", or as renamed) and forms part of the Terms of Service. It applies to all paying users, in Nigeria and internationally.
2. How our billing works
FxHomeLab paid tiers are sold as prepaid passes (monthly, quarterly, or annual). Paying grants you access to the chosen tier for the stated period. Where a recurring card mandate is available and you enable it, your pass may auto-renew; otherwise your access simply ends at the period's close unless you buy another pass. You always keep the access you have already paid for until the period ends.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings or by contacting [BILLING EMAIL]. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not shorten or refund the current paid period.
After cancellation, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, then revert to the free tier.
You can also stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time.
4. Refunds
Because access is granted immediately and delivered digitally, subscription payments are generally non-refundable, except as set out below or as required by law.
4.1 Discretionary / goodwill refunds
We may, at our discretion, offer a full or partial refund within 7 days of a charge where, for example: you were charged in error, charged twice, or could not access the paid features you bought because of a fault on our side that we could not resolve in a reasonable time. Contact [BILLING EMAIL] with your account email and the transaction reference.
4.2 What is not refundable
We do not generally refund:
- a paid period that has already substantially been used;
- a change of mind after you have accessed paid features;
- annual plans partway through the term (they are discounted precisely because they are prepaid and committed) — save as required by law or at our discretion;
- amounts where we reasonably determine fraud, abuse, chargeback abuse, or a breach of the Terms of Service.
4.3 Crypto payments
Payments made in cryptocurrency or other digital assets are non-refundable, because crypto transactions are irreversible and values fluctuate. If we grant a goodwill remedy for a crypto payment, we may provide it as additional access time or account credit rather than a crypto refund. Please only pay in crypto if you are certain.
5. Your consumer rights
Nothing in this Policy removes rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act in Nigeria (and equivalent laws where you live). Where such law gives you a right to a refund, repair, or remedy that we cannot exclude, that right applies regardless of this Policy.
6. Failed payments and lapses
If a renewal payment fails (for example, a card is declined — common with some Nigerian cards on recurring charges), your access will simply lapse to the free tier at the end of the paid period. You can restore paid access by buying a new pass. We do not penalise a failed renewal.
7. Founder / grandfathered pricing
If you subscribed under an expressly offered "founder" or grandfathered price, we will honour that price on the terms stated at the time, for as long as your subscription remains continuously active as described there. Lapsing may end grandfathered pricing — check the offer terms shown at purchase.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first at [BILLING EMAIL] so we can resolve it quickly. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may lead to suspension of your account pending resolution. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks we believe are unwarranted, with evidence of access and acceptance of these terms.
9. Contact
